We trekked to Laya with Gray Langur Tours to see the Royal Highlander Festival of Bhutan.
It is a two day uphill trek from Gasa where we passed through remote scenery to the country’s highest settlement.

  1. Great video! I was lucky to get to Bhutan in February 2018 and LOVED it! Bhutan is awesome. Note that for people who are frightened off by the minimum daily cost… be it known that the fee is less in the winter months being 200 USD per day and that for that sum… EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED from airfare, hotel, ground transportation, guides, food, driver and even emergency medical treatment in country. And so the price is not so high considering this. The country is so interesting because there is so much beauty of nature and people and even friendly dogs. And the architecture is also very beautiful. The population is low making it easier for people to be nice and live together. And note regarding the winter months… the weather is mostly better in the winter anyway being sunny and pleasant.
